This is my very first outfit post and I’m super pumped to be able to share! I honestly have never had the guts to do something like this but, alas, here I am! I’m still figuring out the whole camera and lighting thing so bear with this new blogger!
I first saw the boutique name “Morning Lavender” in the June issue of Southern Living, one of my favorite magazines. The article was about summer beach essentials: something we, as women, are all interested in. I visited the website in hopes of finding the pink floral kimono featured. Unfortunately, it had already sold out.
Fortunately! I fell in love with another piece (actually 3).
TA-DA! My new favorite off the shoulder dress (maybe my only one)
I just adore gingham. It feels very American, simple, classic, southern, friendly and unfussy.
**You can totally see the white tag on the belt folded out… Whoopsies!** I belted it because it still felt a little wide on me since its technically a bigger size than I usually wear.
I’m thinking I’ll wear this piece with a chunky red necklace for The Fourth of July.
What’s even more adorable is the fact that the girls at Morning Lavender also sent a little twig of real lavender right inside my order. Talk about sweet.
Oh and the little vintage gold earrings were super cheap during their Memorial Day sale, so of course I added those.
Psst… I’ll be posting about that gorgeous leather tote very soon 🙂
I enjoy the creativity behind putting together an outfit. Presenting yourself well can speak volumes, and I am truly blessed to be able to have fun in doing so. Now don’t get me wrong, I wear jeans and Target v-necks pretty often. But as a feminine woman, I find excitement in what I put on my body.
